Cara is the MRS in MR.MRS — and the powerhouse Master Colourist driving the creative vision of our brand. With 22 years of industry experience, Cara has cemented herself as a leader in modern colour artistry, specialising in lived‑in blondes, balayage, and textured short styles. Her technical precision, creative instinct, and unwavering standards have made her one of the peninsula’s most in‑demand colour experts. Across her 16 years working locally — including successfully owning and operating her own salon, Hair By Cara — she has built a fiercely loyal clientele who trust her implicitly with their hair. Her dedication to making women look and feel extraordinary is at the heart of every service, from understanding each client’s goals to delivering results that consistently exceed expectations. Cara’s commitment to excellence has also earned her industry recognition, including being named a QLD Finalist in the Matrix All Stars Competition 2025 — a testament to her skill, creativity, and leadership within the colour community. Ashleigh is our original OG — the very first to join our team — beginning her apprenticeship with us 6 years ago and growing into a highly skilled and trusted senior stylist. Her passion for colour shines through in every service, with a particular love for creating vibrant blondes and rich, dimensional coppers. Her precision, patience, and deep product knowledge also make her the peninsula’s go‑to Keratin Smoothing Specialist.
Over the years, Ashleigh has developed a strong dedication to curly hair. She believes every curl pattern is unique, beautiful, and deserving of tailored care. As a Certified Curly Hair Specialist, she helps clients embrace their natural texture with confidence — offering personalised curl education, product guidance, and techniques that make curls thrive.
Ashleigh customises colour specifically for curly hair, understanding how texture, porosity, and curl behaviour influence the final result. Her goal is to enhance and nourish your curls while helping you fall in love with them all over again.

Her career has taken her across the world — including years spent working on luxury cruise ships — where she refined her skills, embraced diverse hair textures, and developed a deep appreciation for the individuality of every client she meets. This international background has shaped her into the intuitive, detail‑driven stylist she is today.
Kate’s true passion lies in curls. She is a genuine curly‑hair artist, known for her ability to read and understand curl patterns with precision. Whether you’re working with waves, spirals, coils, or a combination of textures, Kate tailors her approach to honour the natural movement of your hair. From personalised curl‑care systems to in‑depth styling lessons, she empowers her clients with the knowledge, confidence, and techniques they need to love and manage their curls every day.
Her colour work is equally refined. Kate specialises in creating tones that complement and enhance textured hair, ensuring curls remain vibrant, healthy, and full of life. Her calm presence, meticulous attention to detail, and genuine care make every appointment feel both educational and transformative.
Kate is currently taking on new clients and is available Wednesday to Friday, 9am–2pm. Her books fill quickly due to her high demand and specialised skill set, so securing your appointment in advance is highly recommended.

Star Emerging Stylist

Ada is blossoming into a truly impressive young hairdresser, having begun her journey with us as a school‑based apprentice. Now one of our standout emerging stylists, she brings a beautiful mix of enthusiasm, talent, and genuine care to every client she meets.
Currently in Grade 11, Ada is already showing remarkable passion for the industry. She has a natural gift for blow‑dries, creating bouncy, polished finishes that clients adore, and her head massages are nothing short of heavenly.
Dedicated to mastering her craft, Ada is constantly learning, improving, and embracing every opportunity to grow. Her warm, friendly nature makes her an absolute joy to have in the salon — she’s attentive, thoughtful, and always ready for a great chat.
Ada is well on her way to becoming an exceptional stylist, and we’re incredibly proud to be part of her journey.
